मैंने अपनी कलम से जो पहली लाईन लिखी वो 'परिवर्तन का समय' था। किसी की इबादत में कलम से निकली कुछ लाइनें दिन प्रतिदिन सभी के दिलों में एक प्यार बनकर उभरती गईं। धीरे-धीरे इस इश्क़ में लफ्ज़ बदलने लगें तो मालूम हुआ कि एक दुनिया है जो सभी के अंदर बसती है। अब बस इस बसावट को देखना था और जो भी दिखे, जो भी महसूस हो उसे शब्दों में पिरोने का एक सिलसिला जारी हो गया। जाने-अनजाने में जिंदगी के सभी चाहे अनचाहे पहलू एक एक करके आंखों पर पलकों जितना करीब आने लगें। फिर भी दिल ने मुस्कुराया, और इश्क किया। यही इश्क़ मुझे हर किसी में नजर आने लगी। मुझे जो भी दिखाई दे रहा था मैंने उसे शब्दों में लिखा, जिनमें खुद मेरी एहसासें भी शामिल थीं। यकीनन ये इश्क़ ही था। इन्हीं इश्क़ की कड़ियों से मिलकर बनी ये किताब "मेरा पहला जुनूं इश्क़ आख़री" आपके लिए ही है ।
